i want to do something creative, but can’t decide and i am a bit afraid of it. i know a lot about things like this, but that knowledge is more like from consumer’s side, i have enormous collection of alternative music, and i like cinema a lot, but never had an attempt to produce something. what would you suggest?

Jake P asked:
On the USC School of Cinematic Arts application I can’t select Film/Television production as my major. The online form http://cinema.usc.edu/admissions/applications/apply-online.cfm say N/A instead of a check box. I have already finished my supplement and applied to the USC general admissions. What do I do?

Grae asked:
My friends and myself are trying to get a film production company going (we’re getting LLC soon), and the thing I’m asking about is mainly filming. And also, mainly the camera. I recently came into a little bit of money, enough for a prosumer camera. I’ve wanted a Canon XL-2 for almost 3 years now (since my high school film class), and I am still considering it. I was wondering about anyone’s experiences with said camera, and any feedback for anything of production work. Pre- and Post- production, we have down, but we’ve never actually done such a project. We’ve run test shots with our nifty little Sony Cybershot (DSC-T1), and I feel we’ll do a good job, but how about this camera? I’ve read all the specs (I’ve mainly stuck with my original decision of the XL-2 because of the versatility/adaptability and cost). Does anyone have any advice, comments, or suggestions? Thanks.

I want to work in film production (directing, cinematography, not so much editing) so what would be the minimum amount of education I would need? Would an associates degree in film production be enough? How would I get into something like that?

khazul1 asked:
I am looking for the THEATER version of the play “Camelot” with Richard Harris. NOT the movie. I used to have a copy of the play, but now it is broken. If anyone knows where I can buy a copy of the play please let me know. It was put on by the London Theater. I’ve tried looking in a general search and came up with nothing. I also tried Ebay and came up with nothing as well. Any help would be appreiciated.
I dont want the movie, I want a copy of the actual play that was preformed in 1982 with Richard Harris. I know you can buy a copy of the reporduction of the play. But I want an ACTUAL copy of the play. So if you know where I can buy one. Please let me know.

Nick asked:
I’m in digital film production and we need to be in groups. I don’t like the group I’m in, but I can’t leave the group right now because we just started a project. I prefer to work alone, but we can’t. Should I drop the class or stay in until that project is complete?
